Following on from a successful market validation project daVinci Ventures has been engaged by Glasgow University to provide a CEO Designate for the Ultrafast Project. Under the scheme, which is part funded by the University of Glasgow, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Nick Wood will be leading the team in securing seed investment and creating a spin-out company to commercialise the University’s pioneering work in InP HEMT MMIC technology.
